91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵannual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony scheduled Nov. 30

The 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵcampus will be aglow with the Christmas spirit as 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵkicks off the holiday season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Scott Plaza.

A full slate of events are scheduled starting at 5 p.m., including a visit from jolly Saint Nicholas himself as he arrives in the Acemobile ready with treats for the children. Ace the Warhawk will also lend a hand in the festivities.

As usual, the 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵChorale and Brass Choir will fill the plaza with song as they perform traditional Christmas carols. Participants will also be invited to sing during the Candle Lighting ceremony, and 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵPresident Nick Bruno will draw the name of some lucky young person who will be invited to help pull the switch to light the plaza.

The public and campus family are invited to attend this fun-filled holiday celebration sponsored by the 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵStudent Government Association. The event follows the annual Employee Holiday Reception in the 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓƵConference Center, scheduled from 3–5 p.m.
