Louisiana Creole art to be discussed at ULM
A discussion on "Louisiana's Creoles of Color in the Visual Arts" will be presented in the Library of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓÆµProfessor Fred Adams will present the talk. It will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001 at 6:30 p.m., in the Special Collections of the 91³ÉÈ˶¶Òô¶ÌÊÓÆµLibrary.
Adams will be discussing primarily two Creole artists of color, one from the nineteenth century, Jules Lion, and one from the twentieth century, Clementine Hunter.
